Act as a ready and willing set of hands for whatever is needed by the producer and others on set, including but not limited to, standing in for lighting cues, setting up equipment, assisting Head Builder with prop design, and keeping craft services well-stocked and organized.

I traveled to San Diego and Tijuana with students participating in the Hill Grant, capturing video and images related to the topic of border studies and Chicanx culture, as well as interviewing student participants. I then edited the footage into a series of four 3-10 minute documentaries focusing on various aspects of the trip.

My biggest responsibility was cutting together trailers and promotional clips for films in their catalogue using Adobe Premiere Pro. I also edited/created DVD covers and film posters using Adobe Photoshop, uploaded films and trailers to Vimeo, updated online databases, edited subtitles for films, and completed organizational tasks in the office.
